Inspired by a photograph taken by Phil Ivens of the Borneo Rainforest, I was asked to interpret the photograph in my unique way. The image I was looking at was quite captivating, but lacking colour…it spoke volumes, although the subdue colours hid quite a lot.
I wanted to inject colour, colours which, to me, sang in the rainforests song.
