Writers’ Platform-Building Campaign
I have just signed up to be a Campaigner (hurrah); I will endeavour to find out what my role will be (as I’ve volunteered too -cool huh?), until I find out more, I will provide a quote from Rachael Harrie where she explains what a campaigner is:
‘The Campaigners are all people in a similar position, who genuinely want to pay it forward, make connections and friends within the writing community, and help build each others’ online platforms while at the same time building theirs.
Here’s a post about what’s involved in being a Campaigner, if you want to check it out. And I explain the idea behind the Campaigns further here.’
So there you have it -and now I am one of the crew
I’ll continue to update this page within the week. In the meantime you can read my post about signing-up to the campaign as well as a flash fiction challenge: Challenge Issued: Turner’s Tapestries & a Campaign
Now that I have joined -what now?
Not sure yet, still awaiting everything to finalise, until then here is a list of the groups I have joined:
Mixed Genre/YA – group 3
YA Fiction (All Genres) – group 8
Contemporary/Mainstream Fiction – group 2
Fantasy – group 4
Short Stories
Beginner Bloggers
Poetry
UK/South African Writers
So, that’s the groups for now. This page will be updated accordingly as I find out more from this leg of the campaign. Stay happy always.
