March Photo a Day: Day 18 through to 28

Helloooooo there. Missed me?  I surely missed you all. :D I’ve had a manic few weeks and had some issues with my internet provider so I have been hanging low with my blog posts; I’ll be providing an update on Saturday with what’s happening here on yikici (or what will be happening).  Until then here’s the missing 11 days of the March Photo A Day Challenge.  Enjoy. ;)

Day 18 - Corner of your house (the book-corner; loved playing with the forms in this photo)

Day 19 - Funny (An unlikely chess piece -okay, I confess, failed to come up with a witty image. This is a bronze sculpture I made at university -I was toying with the idea of chess pieces being taken out of context and then being placed on a chess-board... Well, that's the idea behind that.)

Day 20 - Before/After -after a writing session on the comfy sofa

Day 21 - Delicious -quench your thirst with tea

Day 22 - Kitchen Sink (just what it is; again playing with form and lines within the image)

Day 23 - Moon (There's been no visible moon; therefore, this is a reworked image I've taken a while back when I was on a short road-trip in Istanbul, Turkey.

Day 24 - An Animal -well, two; a duck & swan at our local park.

Day 25 - Breakfast -the healthy alternative I have occassionally ;)

Day 26 - Key (yep, that's a window with a key -I decided to make the ordinary extraordinary here with using the same image; but turning one around to come up with this.

Day 27 - Your Name (Ozi in this case -the backdrop is actually my leaving card from work -my name is written with birds in flight over a beautiful sunset -how lucky am I?). :)

Day 28 - Trash (detritus becomes art -it's quite painting-like in some ways; which is beautiful; but on close inspection it makes you stop and think -well, that's my thoughts on that).

If you want to see all the photo’s in this challenge, pop over to the Collections section you will see the March Photo’ grouped together; I will always try to ensure the photo of the day is set as the featured image.  If you want to comment on the individual images; then please do so on the daily blog-posts -the collections in the gallery section does not allow for any commenting.  I know -so annoying.

Do you take photos -are you doing the challenge?  I would love to hear from you and what’s your favourite muse when happily snapping away. :D

Well, that’s me for the day; I’ll be back tomorrow with another photo (the days prompt is ‘Feet’) and will news from yikici -I hope to see you then.

-

Please note:  There will be some changes coming to the schedule at yikici (it’s been too manic and I have not been able to adhere to it as I had intended to; therefore, some pacing will be considered); I will post an article soon(ish) with the full lowdown, until then keep an eye out for posts that will likely to turn-up unannounced. ;)

Stay good and keep that sunshine smile-a-going. :D
