Come on join me on a Challenge & Campaign
Remember remember sometime last year I took a dive into the Writers’ Platform-Building Campaign organised by Rachael Harrie? Well, it’s starting over again (a mini one) and if like me, you want to meet and network with fantastic writers all over the globe then head on over to the Fourth Writer’s Platform Campaign, sign-up and join one (or a few) of the groups found here. This time round as well as participating, I am also a member of Rachael Harries‘ fabulous team (go on say hello to Michael Offutt, K.T. Hanna and Steph *waves*); I will (no doubt with the rest of the team) be working hard behind the scenes putting my organisation skills to the test (don’t be surprised if you receive an email from my good self
). If you have any questions etc please do not hesitate in contacting us. I look forward to hearing from you fab-tastic bunch of peops. -Oh and don’t forget the #writecampaign hashtag on Twitter -come on join in with the conversations.
And for those of you who love a good Flash Fiction Challenge, here’s January’s Picture Challenge. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
-
Challenge Issued: Turner’ Triptych Tapestries
This month I’m changing the format a wee bit (I think I over-complicate things sometimes):
- I’ll keep the prompts to just artistic visuals (e.g. photography/paintings, etc…).
- You’ll have free reign over the writing style -or if you want to submit poetry or an image please do so.
- Word count for this month will be set at 250 words (nothing less, nothing more).
- Challenge duration: One month.
- Prizes? Ermmm, no, just having fun by participating.
- Please post your stories on your blog and add the link to it to the linky list below (leave a quick comment too so I know you’ve taken on the challenge). For those of you who do not have a blog, please email me at admin[at]yikici[dot]co[dot]uk .
For this month I have chosen three of my favourite paintings from Turner (just because I can -besides I wanted a treat; therefore, thought this was the perfect way to do that
).
