Just Because I Care…

…I Listened to What you Say…

(Let’s celebrate the new look with a cake.) This is a very quick blog post as I am very tired and also very excited to share this bit of joyous news! I know the previous blog theme has caused viewing difficulties for some of you and I have been looking into this for a long while; today I want to do the grand unveiling of the new theme. There are still some kinks to iron out; but I’ll get there eventually (maybe a few more scheduled maintenance works are in order; let’s wait and see). In the meantime, I have added some new imagery (artwork from a while ago) and also some photography. I will no doubt edit these as time passes by; but I just wanted to share a little something with you as I absolutely ADORE my new theme! If you share the same enthusiasm too then please give a shout out in the comments box below.

As a certain cartoon character would say;

“That’s all folks”

Patrick will be back on Thursday, continuing his article on ‘Male Power isn’t All it’s Cracked up to be’ and I’ll be back on Saturday, until then have fun and keep smiling.

Oz, I love the new theme. I’m thinking about some changes on my blog as well–now that I see what a lovely job you’ve done with yours, I’m inspired to start working on it!

Ozlem, this is a beautifully organized clean new layout & I think you’ve done a lovely job. This must’ve taken you a lot of hard work & you deserve some rest. That cake has me absolutely drooling & I can feel my rear end size increasing just from looking at it. *giggles* I need to find a tinted screen cover for my netbook. That’s all there is to it. The best, sharpest, most beautiful, & cleanest layouts always have bright white in the reading background which is perfect for most everyone, yet the bane of light-sensitive eyes (like mine–maybe I’m a vampire & don’t know it–LOL). I’ve thought of changing my blog to make it more crisp like this wonderful work you’ve done but then I wouldn’t be able to read my own work. *chuckles*

Cari! You always have the most wonderful and delightful things to say -all which make me smile and blush at the same time! (As discussed over in Twitter, I have added a few links to the cake recipe; I hope you enjoy it -it’s absolutely delish!)

I too have similar issues with bright-white backgrounds (that’s why the first theme was dark and mysterious -I must be in the same boat as you lol!), this theme has a cream tint which I can live with.

I like the new format, I remember when I came to the old one a few times, thinking that it was a wee tad confusing to find my way around with any kind of ease. This new design, is very… tasteful. Well done.

Thank you for your sweet and charming comments. You guys are just truly fab-tas-tic! I’m glad you love it as much as me; I’m hoping this will make a huge difference for everyone. I’m literally on cloud 9 -or something higher than that…
